Accommodation / Overview

Flexible Supported Accommodation Options.

Advocate Care understands that not all participants have Supported Independent Living (SIL) or Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding in their NDIS plans.

To help participants access safe and stable housing, we also offer accommodation options for individuals who require drop-in supports rather than full SIL support. This model allows participants to live in a supportive environment while receiving assistance based on their individual needs and available NDIS funding.

Leaving hospital shouldn't mean being left without a home.

Advocate Care may be able to assist participants transitioning from hospital in Perth, including those requiring supported accommodation or housing with scheduled support services.

Minimum Support Requirements

To ensure participants receive appropriate support and maintain a safe living environment, accommodation placements with drop-in supports require a minimum number of support hours per week.

This ensures that participants receive consistent assistance and that the home environment remains stable and well supported.

Our team can work with participants, families and support coordinators to determine whether this accommodation model is suitable based on the participant's needs and available NDIS funding.

Suitable For Participants Who

  • Do not currently have SIL funding in their NDIS plan
  • Require occasional or scheduled support rather than full-time supervision
  • Are working toward greater independence
  • Require stable housing with access to support services
  • Are transitioning between living arrangements

Advocate Care works closely with support coordinators and allied health professionals to ensure that the level of support provided is appropriate for each participant.
